First Saturday Arts Market artist Arthur Deatly met Ashley at another show and told her join the market in the Heights, so she did. October 1, will be her first market.
A resident of The Woodlands, Ashley Lane says her bright paintings, “Intertwine realism and abstraction to capture the spirit of our perfectly imperfect world.”
Her education in graphic design, communication and business degrees along with world travel as an international charter flight attendant clearly influence her diverse subjects from desert flora, wildlife and oversized portraits to patterned florals for home decor. Lane utilizes both acrylic and oil paints in her original works on canvas and also offers high quality prints of her work.
